Meet Kristen

Hey there I'm Kristen. I grew up in Brevard County and currently serve clients all over the Space Coast. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Central Florida I obtained my Master’s degree in Social Work from Florida State University. I have worked in many different mental health settings to include in home therapy with children in foster care, placement coordination for geriatric clients, and supervising a program serving at risk youth. My most rewarding work has been treating people who have experienced trauma no matter how big or small.

My goal in becoming a psychotherapist was to help others to heal. I specialize in helping adults and teens heal from trauma and painful experiences that continue to affect their relationships, work, sense of safety and internal well being. I'm an EMDRIA certified EMDR therapist which is the main modality I use to treat trauma and attachment wounding. I have also done extensive work treating clients experiencing general anxiety and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and I have more than 10 years of clinical experience.

Her Approach

I provide a compassionate and safe space to do this important work in. Our work may focus on understanding the "why" and the patterns keeping you stuck, building healthier boundaries, developing more effective ways of responding to difficult situations, thoughts and emotions.

I pride myself in showing up authentically and I would not expect you to be vulnerable to someone that feels intimidating. We have fun and work hard. I find that the commonalities I have with my clients allows the therapeutic relationship to thrive. I'm so excited for you to become the person you were always meant to be.
